| Sunny (no-)delight |
Today was supposed to be easier than the last two days, we would be cycling for 65km on the same, flat road. However, this was without taking into account the very very hot and dry weather (it was the same in Malaysia, the third day affliction). We got up at 6:30am, adjusted Katies's bike gears, found a place for breakfast and bought some water. When we started riding the sun was already poking us.

After only one hour of cycling we decided to have a stop in a cafe with loads of hammocks. I lost count how many places we stopped at this morning. The cooling effect from drinks generally disappeared after only 20 minutes in the sun and after it was a question of fighting spirit... Because we are Western tourists, every time we asked how much we had to pay for drinks, there was an awkward moment when the person selling tried to work out how much they could charge us. They are not used to tourists in this region and therefore not used to overcharging.

We had to stop for lunch a few kilometres before Nha Trang despite the fact that we really wanted to arrive and rest in a hotel. It was just too hot and we were just too hungry to continue. We finally arrived at Nha Trang at 3:00pm and had a special escort of motorbikers trying to sell us their hotels. We felt like fish trying to dodge bait. They were very very determined but we resisted and eventually found the perfect hotel we needed: "Perfume grass hotel". Ouf! Two hours later, we went to the train station to book tickets for the next part of our adventure and wandered in streets close to the beach.
