| From the bungalow |
So, we stayed another day at Serentity beach in Sihanoukville, at the same Belgian guest-house that is friendly and where we can practice our French ;-). Tourism is a real business on this beach but it is still pleasant to have a swim and to chill out on one of the numerous terraces, not too bad, really not too bad, definitely great!
We choose to book a bus to go to Koh Kong, which is close to the Thailand border. While Katie was resting I unsuccessfully did some chores. I realised two days after getting my clothes back from the laundry that my nicest shirts were missing... That is why whilst writing this post I am wearing a red design trendy teenager t-shirt. We rented a kayak for the sunset and after that found the nicest place for dinner at one end of the beach. Sorry, that phrase wasn't very interesting.
On day 67 we got a bus which arrived at noon in Koh Kong. This time my task was to find a nice hotel and after having tried all the ones recommended by our guide I got Katie to help me make a decision. We finally found another one that was the best bargain in the town, $13 for a clean and nice hotel with a swimming-pool. I asked at the reception some information about the best place to buy a cheap mp3-player. 30 minutes later I was following a 14 year old boy on his bike who was apparently the geek of the family.
After checking Thailand's political situation one last time on the Internet, we decided to continue our adventure and to cycle to Bangkok as planned. And it would be interesting!!!
