Day 64, Kampot to Sihanoukville, 105km

Bicycle, bicycle,
I want to ride my bicycle...
We got on our bicycles at 7:30am after having eaten a basic breakfast and bought water and...more water. The road was in better condition than we were used to in Cambodia. It was large enough and with few potholes. The most special event of the morning was when we met our first cyclo-tourist on the road. He was called Martin and he came from Holland. He must have been 60 years old rider and he had started from Bangkok to go to Phnom Penh. It was good to meet another species like us and to exchange plans.

We had lunch at 11am in a roadside restaurant before Veal Reanh. We were lucky to find that the only other customer was a Cambodian who spoke English because he spent his last 15 years reading English handbooks at work. Otherwise, I would probably have ordered chicken feet like the last time I randomly chose a dish: "-Is it chicken? -Yes -Perfect I would like some".

I'm not doing a funny face
Veal Reanh was about half way to Sihanoukville and our last chance to find a hotel. We seriously asked each other what to do: stay on the bike and score this f###### 105km? We continued. The weather was cloudy and hot. Sometimes people don't understand when I say that cycling gives us headaches more than pains in our legs. Just consider doing sport all day long in the sun. Lucky that Katie lectures me to drink more water.

I was so happy that I
took a picture of it
The last 20km were uphill and downhill. During this part, we were so affected by the sun that we had a "metaphysical discussions". We did it, YES.
