Days 16-28, Singapore

YOU SHOULD SEE THIS VIEW!
Hi there, it's been a while since we have taken the time to post news about our trip. The reason is that we have been in Singapore since the 19th August 2010. For more than 10 days we have not needed to get on our bicycles and find another hotel or place to rest. We are here with family and making the most of this enormous city-island, having a totally normal "western" life, except that here the food is fabulous: you just change underground station and it's like you are in another country: China, Malaysia, India, England and even France.

Our best postcard picture
Don't worry, we are not as lazy as you must think. We keep doing sport, like swimming in a mostly empty 50m swimming pool, running on the treadmill ( I actually did that once...) and doing a 60 mile loop with only our bikes. So easy without panniers.

On the Esplanade roof
Tomorrow we will get the plane to Ho Chi Minh, ex-Saigon. We will stay there for 3 days and afterwards the adventure continues on our bicycle around Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. Now you understand why we have been so lazy ;-)

We have some catching up to do with writing but you will be able to read all about it soon... Lots of love - sorry we can't come to your and Grandpas' joint party, but I hope you all have a nice day xxx
