Day 4, To Georgetown!

My Mum woke us up at 5:50. Oops. We are still jetlagged. We left the hotel (sob) at 6:20 and rode/walked to the station. Luckily there was hardly any traffic around this early, so the roads weren't quite as terrifying as normal. It was quite cool actually.

We managed to get our bikes on the train no problem, just had to pay £3 each. The train was old, but air-conditioned and there was a big tv screen in front of us telling us all the train times in succession, so that kept us entertained during the 7 hours which followed.

We arrived at Butterworth and took the ferry over to Georgetown, where we found our hotel. It's next to the beach, but I would be lying if I said it was anywhere near as nice as the place we had just left...in fact, actually its quite crap. Back to the real world. Still, we had a drink by the beach and then went to the food court right next door and had some really cheap food.  Good night!
