Day 2, Winning the jetlag battle

Notre chambre a Kuala Lumpur - on ne peut pas s'habituer
a ce mode de vie!
This hotel is the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. I never want to leave it. I have seen how the other half live. I didn't take a picture of breakfast, I was too busy eating it, but it truly the best I have ever eaten - there is every possible thing you could ever want to eat. Curries, noodles, chocolate fountains, french patisseries, english breakfast, chinese food, exotic fruit....

Everything you could even think of they've already thought of it and it's there.

Les petits poissons mangent mes pieds...
je ne suis pas convaincue
Anyway! Most of the time so far I have just been trying to stay awake. The 7 hour time difference is a killer. So today I basically just followed my Mum around in the morning until I felt awake (I got up at 10, which is 3am English time). We bought our train tickets for Saturday and then Nico and I went to a "Fish Therapy" treatment centre. Here, you put your feet in water and fish come and nibble away at your dead skin. Mmmm. When I actually managed to put my feet in the water it was ticklish, but you get used to it - if you don't think about the fact that fish are eating your feet.

We then tried to find a good map of Malaysia for cycling - and couldn't, so this may be interesting!

The day ended with a session in the gym to tire ourselves out, and then some indian food. Only 2 nights left here before we have to go back to the real world and the actual adventure starts. We cannot get used to this!
